Genevieve's Fair Trade Village (GFTV) is a social enterprise focused on creating a fair trade environment that benefits artisans and craftspeople with disabilities.
History & Philosophy
Created in 2015, Genevieve's Fair Trade Village has been growing since. GFTV operates on a co-operative model, wherein, producers set their own prices and consign them to the Village to be sold. The producers receive 90% of the sale price, with the remaining portion being used to employ staff for the Village. GFTV only hires persons with disabilities.
